The NFBDM (North Fremont Business District Monterey) was founded, among other things, to improve the visual appearance, safety, and ambience of the area through the use of streetscape improvements, curb appeal upgrades, accessibility, and safety.  Our goals include:

• Promote improvement of landscaping and drive-by appearance
• Coordinate a litter/graffiti removal program
• Develop a comprehensive streetscape plan
• Develop a comprehensive underground utilities plan to include sidewalk widening
• Investigate speed reduction, traffic flow, and crosswalk improvements
• Extend the WAVE to North Fremont Street
• Promote the perception of safety and accessibility
